FAQ
Who are you?
I am Unruly Unroll, an anonymous digital artist. Since 2021, I have published and sold my work on various platforms, such as fx(hash), EditArt, objkt.com or OpenSea. You can follow me on Twitter and Warpcast.
What is this?
This is a digital artwork called BREAK. It's an animated and generative piece that's meant to be displayed in your desktop or mobile browser using HTML, JavaScript, and WebGL.
With each purchase, the unique selected seed is recorded on the blockchain. This seed will be used to initialize the artwork's algorithmic process, which in turn generates a unique composition that sets it apart from other editions.
Each edition is represented by a non-fungible token (NFT) that's stored on the Ethereum blockchain. You can think of it as a digital certificate of ownership that proves you own a unique and authentic edition.
Is it on-chain?
Yes, both the artwork's code and its metadata are generated on the Ethereum blockchain using a custom smart contract built upon the ERC721 protocol. This ensures the permanence of the work and allows anyone to verify the authenticity and ownership of each edition by checking the blockchain's public records. The token thumbnails will be hosted on the website server during the mint, then will be uploaded to Arweave.
When will the sale begin?
The public sale will open on February 25 at 7:00 PM CET.
How many editions will be available?
There will be 100 unique generative editions.
How can I buy an edition?
Here you can mint a unique NFT by sending Ethereum to the smart contract using your Metamask wallet. This will allow you to purchase one of the 100 editions and own it forever. There is no limit on how many editions you can buy, but they're sold on a first-come, first-served basis, so act fast if you want to secure multiple copies!
Is there a marketplace?
Once you own an edition of BREAK, you can trade it on various platforms like OpenSea. We kindly request that, as a valued collector, you honor the artist's vision and support their ongoing creative pursuits by agreeing to pay a royalty rate of 5% on any future resale of your edition.
